6.5.9.4 Bedding in the brake pads
Disc brakes require breaking-in time. The braking
force increases over time. The braking force is
increased during break-in time. This is also the
case when the brake pads or brake rotors are
replaced.
1 Accelerate ebike to 15 mph.
2 Brake ebike until it comes to a halt.
3 Repeat process 30 to 50 times.
The disc brake is bedded in and provides
optimal braking power.
