27. Installing the user's guide holder
Install the user's guide holder.
Note:
• When attaching the holder at the position
shown in <Installation position ①> (the rear
side of the main body), make sure that the
stored contents such as a manual do not block
the exhaust port of the duct cover.
• If the optional Fax Mount Kit MK-742 and/or
Image Controller IC-420 are installed, the
holder cannot be installed in the position
shown in <Installation position ①>.

28. Securing the main body
(1) Move the main body to the installation site.
Then, lock the two casters at the front to let the
main body sit on the floor.
(2) Attach the four stabilizers (supplied leg assies)
as shown in the illustration.
Make sure to attach the stabilizers. Other-
wise, the machine may get off balance and
turn over, resulting in an injury.
Note:
• If you proceed to install the Large Capacity
Unit LU-205/LU-303 after this installation, do
not attach the stabilizer to the left and right
side of the machine.
• If you proceed to install the Finisher
FS-540SD/FS-540/FS-539SD/FS-539 after
this installation, do not attach the stabilizer to
the left side of the machine.
