Linerless Platen Upgrade (Optional) Problems

Problem
The print quality is poor.
The printer does not feed paper.
The media is jammed.

Solution
• Install the Linerless Platen Upgrade correctly.
• Clean the print head.
• Install the Linerless Platen Upgrade correctly.
• Set the roll correctly.
• Check if a label or adhesive has stuck under the Roll Compartment Cover.
If so, clean the inside of the cover.
Check the following points. If the printer still remains jammed, replace the
Linerless Platen Upgrade.
• Install the Linerless Platen Upgrade correctly.
• Wipe any adhesive residue left along the ejection path of the paper.
• Clean the Roll Compartment and the Media Roll Holders.
• The roll's adhesive may be too strong. Try using a different roll (with less
adhesive).
