The ELAN IP Amps are multizone, and multisource audio switchers that can be controlled by the ELAN
software using IP. Using Dante, the various chassis can communicate and share/stream sources over IP.
T
HE FOLLOWING FEATURES ARE SUPPORTED
Source and Volume control: Each zone has independent control of the source selection and volume
control
Independent Zone Settings: Each zone has a prebuilt settings page with: Loudness, 5 band
customizable EQ, and Do Not Disturb (DND) settings
Configurable zone outputs: The outputs are independent from zones and can be assigned to any zone
for a very flexible installation. Using Dante, you can expand the number of chassis and therefore the
number of zones.
12 V Trigger outputs/Audio Sense Inputs: The EL-IPD-MTX-8CH, EL-IPD-PRE-MSI, and EL-IPD-AMP-
EXT all come with 3 12-volt trigger outputs, and also with the ability to detect audio inputs. These can be
used by configuring event maps.
Doorbell/Zone Paging: The EL-IPD-MTX-8CH and EL-IPD-PRE-MSI come with a dedicated doorbell
source that can be used with an ELAN SC100 or G1 to ring a doorbell or send a page through multiple
zones.

HE FOLLOWING FEATURES ARE
Control from HC Controllers: Only SC2, SC 10, SC100, and G1 can be used for control.
