    The example below shows the preamp output of an A/V Receiver being distributed through- out the home in stereo using the BUS INPUT of the A1240. A second A1240 can be added for six additional pairs of speakers via the Bus Loop Outputs. Up to four A1240s can be linked via LOOP OUTPUTs.

    Their purpose is to allow the creation of summed mono signals without having to use addi- tional patch cables. For example, if A1240 Input #1 is being fed a monaural signal, and Input #2 needs to receive that same signal, slide the DIP switch labeled “1” to the left, (ON) position for both channels 1 and 2.
