Network Performance Statistics

In addition to the statistics collected for all interfaces, these additional DDS
network statistics appear when Network is selected from the Performance
Statistics menu.

What It Indicates

No Signal Count
Number of times a No Signal ( NS ) condition has occurred.

Out of Service Count
Number of times an Out-of-Service ( OOS ) condition has
occurred.

Out of Frame Count
Number of times an Out-of-Frame ( OOF ) condition has
occurred.
Excessive BPV
Number of times an excessive bipolar violation ( BPV )

Count
condition has occurred. This is a count of BPVs that qualify as
being excessive.
The count is incremented when at least one invalid BPV
occurs every 20ms over a 2-second period.

BPV Count
Number of errors received when a BPV condition has
occurred. This is a total count of BPV errors.

Elapsed time is also shown in the hours:minutes:seconds format for all statistic but
BPV Count. This is the total amount of time the access unit has experienced the
condition since statistics were last reset.
