Test Status Messages:
These test messages appear in the right-most column of the System and Test
Status screen.
Message What It Indicates
No Test Active No tests are currently
running.
CSU Loopback Active A Channel Service Unit
Loopback toward the
network is currently
running.
DSU Loopback Active A Data Service Unit
Loopback (a Local
Loopback back to the
network) is currently
running.
DTE External LB, An external DTE Loopback
Port- n is running on the selected
port ( Port-1 or Port-2 ).
DTE Initiated Ext. LB DTE has initiated an
Port- n external DTE Loopback on
the selected port ( Port-1 or
Port-2 ).
FCC Test Active Should never see this
message.
ISDN Test Active An ISDN test has been
initiated by the ISDN
network and is currently
active.
Lamp Test Active The Lamp Test is active,
causing the LEDs on the
faceplate to flash on
and off.

Allow the loopback to continue
or abort the test.
Press Return ( ) while the
