Self-Test Results Messages:
These self-test result messages appear in the middle column of the System and
Test Status screen.
Message What It Indicates
Device Fail One or more of the access
unit's integrated circuit
chips has failed
device-level testing.
Memory Fail Access unit failed memory
verification.
Passed Access unit has been
plugged in (or reset ), the
access unit has passed the
diagnostic test, and there
are no other status
messages.

Record the failure code before resetting the access unit; otherwise, the error
information will be lost.

3. Return the access unit to the
