DBM Interface Status

ISDN BRI DBM statuses appear when DBM Interface Status is selected from the
Status menu. These statuses only appear when a DBM is installed and the ISDN
BRI DBM's BRI-B1 configuration option is enabled.
Follow this menu sequence:

If Operating Mode is Disable, no other fields will appear.

If Operating Mode is Idle, Active Call Profile and Negotiated Rate will not appear.

DBM Interface Status
What It Indicates
Status of the ISDN line.
Active – The ISDN line is active
and no error conditions exist.
Inactive – The ISDN line is
disconnected or an ISDN
network alarm condition exists.
Inv SPID – The switch has
rejected one of the configured
SPIDs.
Inv Local Number – The phone
number configured for the
B channel is an invalid local
number.
Inv Call ID – The incoming call
was rejected because the Calling
ID did not match the number in
any of the enabled ISDN Call
Profiles. The rejected Calling ID
appears in the BRI-B1 Remote
Call ID field.

Status of the ISDN BRI DBM.

Disabled – ISDN B channel is
disabled.
Idle – No calls are currently
active on the DBM interface, and
no tests are being run.
Testing – A network-initiated test
is running on the DBM interface.
Active – At least one backup call
is active on the DBM interface.
