Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner

6.1

Notes on safety for the first start-up

The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and

regulations of the laws in force.

Choice of nozzles

In case of very heavy oil it is advised to use high wear resistance
nozzles (for instance Monarch F 80 H0).
6.3

Combustion head adjustment

Turn the screw A, Fig. 11 till the set-point, detected from the
diagram, is on the line with the washer B, Fig. 11.

6.2.2

Pump pressure

Advised pressure:
Light oil: 20 bar
Heavy oil: 25 bar (see modification kit)
Rated deliveries of the nozzles are indicated on the above list and
refer to a light oil having viscosity from 3 to 5°E at 50° C pre-
heated at 100°C.
The effective delivery may vary of ± 5% against the rated one. In
case of requirement of intermediate values, the pump pressure or
the nozzles match could be changed.
The pump is set by the factory set at 20 bar.
