7.5. Replacing Surge Protection
Device (SPD)
Once the inverter encounters voltage spikes (e.g. struck by lightning)
protect the inverter and got damaged. If you find a warning message "DC Surge" or
"AC Surge" shown on display panel, please follow the steps below to replace the SPD.
1. Switch AC and DC power off and check no residue voltage exists on DC/AC
side.
2. Rotate the handle and open the front door.
3. Recognize which SPD unit was damaged.
For DC and AC SPD, find the one that green light was changed to red
