1. Turn off the computer, remove the battery

2. Slide the latch
3. Slide the component bay cover
a. Slide the latch and hold in
4. Carefully lift the component bay cover
place.
5. The CMOS battery is located under the hard disk at point
b. Remove the bay cover
6. Remove the screw
up.
7. Remove the HDD module
c. Remove the screw.
d. Remove the HDD.
8. Carefully disconnect the cable
e. Disconnect the cable and
9. Reverse the process to install a new CMOS battery (do not forget to replace the screw and cover).
