1 VOL (volume) control/power switch
Use this switch to adjust the volume. This switch also
acts as a power switch. To turn on the power, turn the
control upward. To turn the power off, turn the control
downward until you hear a click. To increase the
volume, turn it upward. To decrease the volume, turn it
downward.
2 POWER indicator
Lights when the power is turned on. The indicator
becomes dimmer as the built-in lithium ion battery
discharges. When the battery is completely discharged,
the indicator will not light. Thus, this indicator allows
you to check the charge condition of the built-in
battery.
3 Infrared receiving lens
Picks up infrared from the infrared radiator. Monitor
from a position in the hall where you can see the
infrared radiator. If you cannot see the infrared radiator
you will not be able to hear the sound because the
infrared will be interrupted.
4 Earphone jack (minijack)
Connect the supplied earphone.

Indicates the channel number selected with the CH
selector 8.
6 Charge terminal
The battery is charged through this terminal.
7 Clip
Use this clip to attach the infrared receiver to your
clothing. You can also hang the infrared receiver
around your neck using the supplied strap.
8 CH (channel) selector
Selects the channel to monitor. The channel number
appears in the CH display window. "0" corresponds to
the original channel.
