SPECIAL NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS
The addition of Monkey Bars to a Creative Playthings
gym will increase the safe play zone required of the gym.
No obstructions of any kind should be within 6'
of any part of the Monkey Bars. Please review the in-
structions and manual provided with the gym for safety
information and instructions on proper ground cover.
All hardware on this set is specially coated for corro-
sion resistance. If non-Creative Playthings hardware
is used, it must be galvanized or stainless steel.

Do not position the Monkey Bars near enough to a slide that a child encounters the Monkey Bars with any part of the body while sliding. Bolt the top holes of the End Ladder assembly to the Triangle Braces and the end holes on the Top Ladder using two 5/16 x 3" Hex Bolt Assemblies. 3" 1-1/2" 1-1/2" Depending on model, the top ladder may look different. - Page 4 Mark the position of the holes in the Mounting Block onto the Wall Support. Drill 3/8" diameter holes through the Wall Support at the marks. Secure using four 5/16 x 4-1/2" Hex Bolt Assemblies as shown. This post has a seam that interferes with mounting directly to the post Wall Support Parts omitted for clarity. - Page 5 Secure the Mounting Block using four 5/16 x 4-1/2" Hex Bolt Assemblies as shown. Secure the other rail of the Top Ladder to the corner post using one 5/16 x 3-1/2" Lag Screw and Flat Washer. Secure the L-Brace to the post using one 5/16 x 2" Lag Screw and one Flat Washer. Use a 1/4" diameter drill to create pilot holes for the Lag Screws. - Page 6 WARNING: To avoid serious injury or death, the space between Wall Slats or any other members MUST be less than 3-1/2" or greater than 9".
