Problem
HumidAire is not working
and there is no On/Off
(green) light or heater
(orange) light.
The orange heater light does
not light up.
The air does not feel hot.
The water chamber is leaking.
Possible cause
Power cord is not connected
properly.
HumidAire is not switched on.
Power outlet may be faulty.
HumidAire has a rapid heating
element and efficient design
which allow very short heating
times, so do not be concerned if
the orange light only flashes on
very briefly.
The HumidAire adds humidity
to the air without heating it up,
so you may not feel any added
warmth.
Lid may not be on correctly
(seal may be twisted, or catches
not engaged properly).
Lid could be damaged or
cracked.
Solution
Check that the power cord is
plugged in firmly.
Switch on main switch at rear of
unit.
Try another power outlet.
To confirm that the heater plate
is working, remove the water
chamber, turn the dial up to 8
and hold your hand 1cm above
the heater plate. The orange light
should come on, and after a
minute, you should feel some
heat. If not, contact your
supplier.
Press the lid down firmly and
ensure that the seal is seated
properly and all three catches
are engaged.
Contact your supplier for a
replacement lid.
