Clean and coat terminals yearly
Drain, flush and refill every two years or
200,000 miles (320 000 km)
Every three months:
Check 2 condenser's discharge tubes
Check 6 evaporator's discharge tubes
Check 2 front discharge tubes
SAE Viscosity Grade: 15W40
API Classification: CF4
Automatic Transmission Oil
(Dexron-IIE or Dexron-III)
Low silicate, ethylene glycol coolant
50% antifreeze/water solution is normally used
Antifreeze concentration should be between 30% and 67%
Polyolester Oil, HFC 134A compatible
Castrol SW-68 (POE) or equivalent
Gear oil meeting MIL-L-2105-D:
75W90 for Northern climate
80W140 for Southern climate
(in extreme conditions or for better performance, full synthetic gear oil can
be used.)
Synthetic oil: ISO VG (viscosity grade) 460
Mobil SHC 634 or equivalent
Dexron-IIE or Dexron-III
Heavy duty engine oil meeting MIL-2104-C: SAE 30 (Northern climate),
SAE 40, SAE 50.
Straight mineral gear oil: SAE 80 (Northern climate), SAE 90
Heavy duty break fluid meeting DOT 3 specifications.
Good quality lithium-base grease:
NLGI No.2 Grade is suitable for most temperatures
NLGI No.1 Grade is suitable for extremely low temperatures
