[13] Apply LABELs
1. Put AUX. CAUTION LABEL suitable for your language
on REAR T/M GUARD. (Fig.57)
If the vehicle has a plate for LICENCE PLATE, put the
label on GATE BOX PLATE. (Fig.58)
2. Put HYD. UTILITY VALVE LABEL on GATE BOX
PLATE.

(2) HYD. UTILITY VALVE LABEL <65>

[14] Install cargo box and LIFT CYLINDER ASSY
1. Put clean KUBOTA UDT or SUPER UDT fluid in the
TANK [17.0 L]
2. Start the engine and extend the cylinder while the
cylinder does NOT contact the engine or others.
3. Stop the engine. Install the cargo box with bolts and
lock nuts.
[Clearance between the nut and stay: 0 mm,
Tightening torque: 77.5 to 90.2 N-m (7.9 to 9.2 kgf-m)]
4. Install the top of LIFT CYLINDER ASSY to cargo box
with JOINT PIN and apply grease Inside of the JOINT
PIN (Fig.14).
5. Use new SPLIT PIN <61> to fix the JOINT PIN.

[15] Final confirmation
Finally, confirm normal operation and check oil
leakage of hydraulic lines. (If auxiliary valve lever is in
"ON" position, the engine will not start because of
safety start. Also, using the hydraulic utility valve,
make sure the utility valve lamp in indicator panel is
on.)
