6.13 Replacing presser foot
Removal
(1) Loosen the screw ① , and pull out the lap former
② toward you.

(2) Loosen the screw ⑤ of the lifter lever stop ④ of
the presser lifter lever ③ .

(3) Loosen the screw ⑥ , and while raising the upper
knife holder guide collar ⑦ slightly, pull until the
tip of the upper knife ⑧ separates from the presser
foot.

(4) Loosen the presser spring regulator ⑨ .
