6.4 Height of presser foot
Adjusting
(1) Loosen the screws ② .
(2) Push down the lifter lever ③ to make the height from
the top of the stitch plate to the bottom of the presser
foot to 5.0 ㎜ .(from the top of the stitch plate to the
bottom of the presser foot spring plate to 4.5 ㎜ )
(3) Touch the lifter lever stop ① to the pin ④ , then
tighten the screws ② securely.
After adjusting, push down the lifter lever ③ fully to check
the height of the presser foot.
6.5 Replacing presser foot spring plate
Removing:
(1) Remove the screws ⑤ .
(2) Remove the presser foot spring plates ⑥ from the
presser foot.
(3) Remove each plate ⑥ from the spring plate holder ⑦ .
Resetting:
(1) Reset each presser foot spring plate ⑥ with the spring
plate holder ⑦ .
(2) Reset the plates ⑥ parallel each other on the side ⑧ of
the presser foot.
(3) Tighten the screws ⑤ securely.
