Standard delivery

The boiler is delivered in a pack containing:
• a wall-mounted gas boiler;
• a fixing bracket for the wall-mounted gas boiler;
• a flue gas connector;
• a three-pole cable for connecting to the mains;
• a paper template;
• an installation and maintenance manual;
• a user manual.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

5.1

Installation regulations

The installation must satisfy the requirements of local by-laws and technical regulations.
5.2

Installation requirements

The technical notes and instructions below are intended for installers. Instructions on ignition and use of the boiler are in the
'Instructions for Users' section.
5.2.1 Electrical input
Electrical input: 230V~ 50Hz
Observe the poles of the terminals: phase (L), neutral (N) and earth
5.2.2 Water treatment
The boiler and heating system can be filled with mains water.
Do not add chemical products to the water for heating without having first consulted a water treatment specialist. For
example: anti-freeze, water softeners, products for increasing or decreasing the pH value, chemical additives and/or
inhibitors. These can damage the boiler and the heat exchanger in particular.
Clean the system with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 3 times the volume of water that the heating system can hold.
Clean the DHW circuit with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 20 times its capacity.
Baxi recommends specific products from the Baxi-BX line for the cleaning and care of systems; the products can be
purchased from the authorised "service" network.
