Discontinuing Use

Detected Damage
Do not use the system or system components if:
• The power cable or plug is damaged or frayed
• Liquid has been spilled into the device
• The system does not operate normally when the operating instructions are followed
• System components have been dropped or the housing has been damaged
• System components exhibit a distinct decrease in performance, indicating the need for
servicing
• Liquids leak from the system
• Smoke is emitted by the system
What to do
If you discover a defect:
• Switch off the system and immediately disconnect from the utility power.
• Remove the fuse
• Contact Brainlab support
• Attach a suitable notice such as "DO NOT USE" to the equipment to prevent it from being used
inadvertently
