Attention!
Before removing the water tank (5) make
–
sure that the unit is unplugged.
Make sure that water drops do not get onto
–
the garment steamer body, onto the power
cord or the power plug.
Do not fill the water tank (5) with sparkling
–
water, scent additives, vinegar, chemical
agents etc.
If you need to refill water during operation,
–
switch the garment steamer off by unplug-
ging it.
Hang the clothes on a hanger.
–
Note:
Never steam clothes on a person, since the
–
steam is very hot. Use a hanger at all times.
For a stable steam delivery, keep the water
–
level above the minimal mark.
Do not direct steam flow onto metal elements.
–
Be careful when steaming clothes with metal
elements.
Insert the power plug to the mains socket, press
–
the on/off button (7), the on/off
steam release
(9) indicators will start flash-
ing. Wait until the indicators glow constantly.
Take the garment steamer with your hand and
–
hold it near the steam delivery button (3).
To begin steam delivery, press the button (3).
–
Slowly move the garment steamer along the
–
fabric in upward direction. Smooth out the fab-
ric with your other hand.
To stop the steam supply, press the button (3)
–
three times.
Use the brush flexible frame (2) as a clothes pin
–
to make creases on trousers and skirts.
Note:
Hold the steamer vertically or horizontally but
–
do not turn it over.
During the steamer operation, the upper part
–
of the unit body Becomes very hot. Be careful
and do not touch the hot parts of the unit body!
After steaming, the clothes should cool down
–
and dry up. This may take some time.
After the unit operation, unplug the garment
–
steamer and let it cool down.
To remove the brush attachment (1) pull the
–
lock (2) and remove the brush attachment (1).
Press the button (4) and remove the water
–
tank (5).
Open the water inlet of the tank (5) and drain
–
the remaining water. Close the water inlet.
Reinstall the water tank (5).
–
Auto Switch off
When the water tank (5) becomes empty, the
–
water pump will automatically switch off after
2 minutes of continuous operation.
If the steam supply is switched off, the unit will
–
automatically switch to the standby mode after
10 minutes.
CLEANING AND CARE
Pull the power plug out of the mains socket and
–
let the garment steamer cool down completely.
Move the lock (4) upwards and remove the water
–
tank (5) from the unit body.
Open the water inlet of the tank (5) and drain the
–
remaining water. Close the water inlet.
Reinstall the water tank (4).
–
Wipe the garment steamer body and the sur-
–
face with the steam release openings (11) with a
slightly damp cloth, and then wipe dry.
Scaling on the surface that contains steam
–
release openings (11) may be removed with a
cloth soaked in vinegar-water solution.
Wash the brush-attachment (1) under a water
–
jet having preliminary removed it from the gar-
ment steamer.
Do not use solvents or abrasives for cleaning the
–
(8) and
garment steamer.
If the steam release significantly decreases when
using the steamer, descale the unit as follows:
Fill the water tank (5) with a special descaling
–
reagent solution for all types of water heating
appliances. Follow the manufacturer's instruc-
tion to prepare the detergent solution.
Insert the power plug into the mains socket,
–
press the on/off button (7) and wait until the
indicators (8) and (9) glow constantly.
Take the garment steamer with your hand and
–
direct it to the sink.
Set the high steam release level with the button (3).
–
When the cleaning solution runs out, rinse the
–
water tank, fill it with clean water and repeat the
above steps.
After the procedure switch the unit off and let it
–
cool down.
Attention! Do not immerse the garment
steamer, the power cord or the power plug of
the unit into water or other liquids.
