LUBRICATION CHART

The following lubrication chart lists all components that
can be serviced and grease fittings in order of frequency
in hours for normal operating conditions. Each of the
lubrication points given here are shown in the photos in
this section.

Hay conditioner tension cam (1 grease fitting on each

Hay conditioner shafts (5 grease fittings on the
left-hand side)
Hay conditioner drive tensioner pivot (1 grease fitting)
Cutterbed drive shaft splines (1 grease fitting on each
side)
Cutterbed drive shaft U-joints (2 grease fittings on
each side)
50 Hours Hay conditioner bearings (2 grease fittings on each
side)
Helper roll bearing (1 grease fitting on each side)

*IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE OIL LEVEL IN THE CUTTERBED BE CORRECT. DO NOT OVERFILL THE
CUTTERBED. EXCESS OIL WILL CAUSE FAILURE OF THE CUTTERBED DUE TO OVERHEATING.
The oil level in the cutterbed cannot be checked. If in doubt as to the amount of oil in the cutterbed, drain the
cutterbed and fill with the correct type and quantity of lubricant. See Lubrication in the Specifications section for
the correct type and quantity of lubricant.
