Press FUNCTION +/ repeatedly to
select the CD function.

Press / to turn off the system.

After "STANDBY" stops flashing, press
DISPLAY to display the clock and
then press / while holding down

"PWR MNG OFF" appears. With the
CD player/"WALKMAN"/USB device
power turned off, disc access time
is increased. In addition, when the
TUNER function is selected, power
is not supplied to the "WALKMAN"
and the USB device, so they are not
recognized even if connected.
To turn on the CD player/
"WALKMAN"/USB device power,
repeat the procedure until "PWR
MNG ON" appears.
To reset the system to factory settings
If the system still does not operate
properly, reset the system to factory
settings.
Use buttons on the unit to reset the unit
to its factory default settings.

Disconnect and reconnect the power
cord, and then turn on the system.

Hold down and ENTER, and press
/.
All user-configured settings, such as
preset radio stations, timer, and the
clock, are deleted.

Messages
One of the following messages may
appear or flash in the front panel display
during operation.
CANNOT PLAY
You tried to play an unsupported file on
the USB device.
COMPLETE
The radio preset operation ended
normally.
The audio file or folder on the USB
device has been erased.
DATA ERROR
You tried to play an unplayable file on the
USB device.
DEVICE ERROR
The "WALKMAN" or the USB device
could not be recognized or an unknown
device is connected (page 35, 36).
DEVICE FULL
The "WALKMAN" or the USB device
is full.
