If you connected a Sony
Ericsson mobile phone, press
MEMORY SELECT repeatedly to
choose a recording destination.
You can choose the internal memory
or a Memory Stick (if inserted) on the
Sony Ericsson mobile phone.
Memory number
(varies depending on the mobile phone model)

Press REC TO USB on the unit.
"Please Wait" appears and the display
switches between "xxMB Free" (free
space on the USB device) and "Push
PLAY. "
The USB device stands by for
recording.

Start playing the desired source
to record, then press  (or 
on the unit).
"USB" and "REC" light up and
recording starts.

Recording stops automatically when:
 you change the function.
 you change the band.
 you turn off the system.
 the USB device runs out of space during
the recording.
 the number of files or folders on the USB
device reaches the limit for the number
that the system can recognize.
Folder and file names and generation
rules
When first recording an analog audio
to the USB device, a "MUSIC" folder
is created directly below the "ROOT"
folder.
Folders and files are generated within this
"MUSIC" folder as follows.
Music
Folder name
source
TUNER
"FM001"* or
"AM001"*
AUDIO IN
"AUDIO001"* "TRACK001"*
TV/VIDEO
"TV001"*
AUDIO IN
* Folder and file numbers are assigned serially
thereafter.
To stop recording
Press .
File name
"TRACK001"*
"TRACK001"*
