To change the AM tuning interval
(Except for European and Russian
models)
The AM tuning interval is factory‑preset
to 9 kHz or 10 kHz (for some areas).

Press FUNCTION +/ (European
models only)/FUNCTION (except
for European models) or FUNCTION
+/ on the unit repeatedly to select
"TUNER AM. "

Press / to turn off the system.

Press DISPLAY repeatedly until the
clock appears in the display.

Press / on the unit while holding
 on the unit.

"AM 9k Step" or "AM10k Step" appears
in the display.
When you change the interval, all the
AM preset stations are deleted.
If the system still does not operate
properly after performing the
above measures or other troubles
not described above occur, reset the
system as follows:
Use buttons on the unit to reset the
system to its factory default settings.

Unplug the power cord.

Plug the power cord back in.

Press  to turn on the system.
4
Press  and
time and hold for more than three
seconds.
"RESET" appears in the display.
The system is reset to the factory
settings except for the "SETUP"
settings. You should set the settings
you made, such as the preset stations,
clock and timer.
