7.3 PCI Bus Expansion Kit

The PCI Bus Expansion Kit is necessary to install the IPSec Board.

7.4 System Upgrade RAM

The System Upgrade RAM expands the memory capacity of the machine, and
enables the customer to specify more functions for scanning and sending
documents. The System Upgrade RAM is required to scan a color document in
600 dpi.

7.5 Additional Memory Type C (512 MB)

The Additional Memory Type C expands the memory of the machine to 1 GB. The
PDF Direct Print and PS print functions of the imagePRESS Printer Kit, require that
the Additional Memory Type C is installed before these print functions can be
enabled.

7.6 IPSec Board

The IPSec Board enables the use of the IPSec (IP Security) communication
protocol. IPSec enables the customer to create a security policy to protect data
that is received and sent over an IP network from threats, such as interception,
alteration, and theft.
NOTE
The IPSec Board cannot be used with the optional imagePRESS Server
K200/K100.

7.7 Color Universal Send Kit

The Color Universal Send Kit can send scanned documents via e-mail or I-fax, as
well as send scanned data to be stored in file servers or User Inboxes.
A URL Send feature enables scanned documents to be stored on the device while
it sends only the URL of the document to a recipient for retrieval. This eliminates
electronic jams and full e-mail inboxes.
NOTE
To enable the Send function, the optional Color Universal send Kit must be
activated.
