14. Machine Reliability and Productivity

The imagePRESS 1110+ should be available approximately 95% of the time under
the following conditions:
• Genuine Canon parts and supplies are used exclusively.
• The installation and operating environment meets the specifications detailed in
this document and other Canon service documentation.
• Service is provided by a Canon authorized service technician.
• Single sided, uncoated, letter size sheets (20 lb bond (80 g/m
• Monthly print volume falls within the optimal performance range specified in this
document.
IMPORTANT
• The availability calculation is based on an 8-hour work day, Monday through
Friday, the average monthly print volume, 1.898 visits per month, 120 minutes
per call, and averaged over 90 days (quarterly).
• The availability calculation does not include technician response time,
emergency calls, or customer service functions, such as toner and paper
replacement, and part return calls.
• Operating the imagePRESS 1110+ in a low temperature environment (below
68°F (20°C)), slows the machine's productivity. If the machine is operating in a
low temperature environment, set the Adjust Fixing for Natural Conditions mode
based on the customer's desired image quality or productivity results. See
