• Read all instructions before assembling bunk bed. KEEP INSTRUCTIONS
FOR FUTURE USE.
• Before each usage or assembly, inspect bunk bed for damaged hardware,
loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use bunk bed if any parts
are missing or broken. Telephone or write to PB teen for replacement parts and
instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
• Follow the information on the warning appearing on the upper bunk end
structure and on the carton. DO NOT REMOVE WARNING LABEL FROM THE
BED.
• Never allow a child under 6 years on upper bunk.
• Use only mattress which is 74"-75" long and 52.5"-53.5" wide on upper bunk.
• Ensure thickness of mattress does not exceed 9" and mattress is at least 5"
below upper edges or guardrails.
• Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to
help prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
• Surface of mattress must be at least 5 inches (127 mm) below the upper edge
of the guardrails.
• Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder and other components
are in their proper position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
• Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
• Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
• Use of a night light may provide added safety precautions for a child using the
upper bunk.
• Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk.
• Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
• If upper bunk bed will be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment
between the bed and the wall.
• If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children's products.
• STRANGULATION HAZARD – Never attach or hang items to any part of the
bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed; for example, but not
limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes.
• The use of water or sleep flotation mattress is prohibited.

  • Page 2 PRE-ASSEMBLY: • Please read all instructions before beginning assembly. • Remove all parts and hardware from the box and lay out on a clear carpeted or scratch-free work surface. (The shipping box provides an ideal work surface), this will avoid damaging any parts during assembly. Do not dispose of any contents until assembly is completed to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware.

  • Page 4 2. Attach the Supporter Block (H) and Guard Rail (F) to the Right Side Rail (D) by inserting the Stud Bolt (R), assembled in Step #1, through the pre-drilled holes in the center of the Supporter Block (H) and through the pre-drilled hole in the center of the Guard Rail (F), as shown.
  • Page 5 4. Secure the Headboard (A) and Footboard (B) to the assembled part from Step 2 by inserting (6) 5/16” Barrel Nuts (N) into the pre-drilled holes on the interior facing sides of the Right Side Rail (D) and the Guard Rail (F), as shown below.
  • Page 6 6. Align and insert the pre-attached wooden dowels of the Bottom Rail (G) into the pre-drilled holes on the leg posts of the Headboard (A) and Footboard (B). Make sure the pre-drilled holes on the Bottom Rail (G) are facing outward. Secure the Bottom Rail (G) to the Headboard (A) and Footboard (B) by inserting the 5/16” Barrel Nuts (N) into the pre-drilled holes on the outward-facing side of the Bottom Rail (G).
  • Page 7 8. Carefully lift Support Rail (I) onto Mounting Plates (U) on Headboard (A) and Footboard (B). Secure the Supporting Rail (I) by inserting (4) #8 x 20mm Screws (T) through the pre-drilled holes on the Mounting Plate (U) and the pre-drilled holes located at both ends of the Support Rail (I). Loosely tighten with a Philips Head Screwdriver (not included).
  • Page 8 10. Slide guard rail (J) onto Left Side Rail (C) as show below (Fig.10). Fig. 10 11. Fasten metal brackets that are already attached to Guardrail (J) into pre-drilled holes on Left Side Rail (C). Fasten Guardrail (J) to Left Side Rail (C) using (4) #8 x 20mm Screws (T) .Turn the pre-attached mending plates located on the underside edge of the Guard Rail (J) and align them with pre-drilled holes located on the bottom edge of Left Side Rail (C).
  • Page 9 12. Lay the Slat Roll (L) down onto the inner ledges of the Side Rails (C) and (D). Attach the Slat Roll (L) by inserting the #8 x 25mm Screws (S) through the pre-drilled holes on the end of the Slat Roll (L) and into the inner ledges of the Side Rails (C) and (D).

    14. If your floor is not perfectly even, the furniture may not sit level and cause it to wobble. If the piece wobbles, determine which corner does not touch the ground correctly. With two people follow these steps: Carefully elevate the item slightly to provide access to the levelers attached to the bottom. Turn the levelers in a counter-clockwise direction.
