Select a method of MPPE encryption.
No encryption: MPPE encryption is not applied.
MPPE 40/128 bit: MPPE encryption with a 40-bit or 128-
bit key is applied.
MPPE 40 bit: MPPE encryption with a 40-bit key is applied.
MPPE 128 bit: MPPE encryption with a 128-bit key is
applied.
MPPE encryption can be applied only if the MS-CHAP, MS-
CHAPV2, or AUTO value is selected from the Authentication
protocol drop-down list.
Move the switch to the right if you want the access point to keep
you connected to your ISP even when the connection has been
inactive for a specified period of time. If the switch is moved to the
right, the LCP interval and LCP fails fields are available. Specify
the required values.
Move the switch to the right if you want the access point to
establish connection to the Internet on demand. In the Maximum
idle time field, specify a period of inactivity (in seconds) after
which the connection should be terminated.
Advanced options of the pppd daemon which need to be specified
for this connection. Optional.
Fill in the field if you want to use a static IP address to access the
Internet.
Move the switch to the right if you want to log
connection debugging.

For the PPTP type only.
Move the switch to the right if it is necessary to use the data
compression function in order to configure the connection.
Move the switch to the left to disable the function.
