An error indication appears at the upper left of the screen. In the Operator Message list,
select [Details] for the appropriate error message to display details of the error.
• This is factory set to suspend printing when a print defect is detected. You can reconfigure the
setting to print without suspension. For details, see "Condition to Stop Printing" in page 23
"Specifying the Detection Level".
• While printing is being suspended, do not individually restart either the color controller or the
TotalFlow print server.
• If a service call or paper jam occurs, the paper not delivered properly may be detected as a
defect.
• Up to 1,500 defective page images, together with detection results for up to 1,000,000 pages,
are stored. If these limits are exceeded, log entries are deleted starting with the oldest.
• If printing is suspended, it is reported in a pop-up window on the control panel.
• You can choose to continue or cancel a suspended job. If you continue printing, you can check for
defects and their status on the Image Quality Monitor Console after printing.

Image Quality Monitor Console is the user interface for Image Quality Monitor. It provides the following
functions to the user via the browser:
• Displaying the Image Quality Monitor monitoring results and detailed data
• Adjusting and managing the threshold values for monitoring defects
