Using the YAMAHA ™ YMF-740 Audio Driver
To access the YAMAHA ™ Sound Mixer audio driver controls, follow
these steps:
1.
Open the Windows 95/98 [Start] menu.
2.
Select [Programs], [Accessories], and [Multimedia] path.
3.
Find and click the [Volume Control] option to run the
application.
The audio control panel of the YAMAHA ™ sound driver will appear.
The audio mixer gives control of the sound inputs of all audio
devices. You can adjust the internal volume and balance of each
individual audio device. Also, this audio mixer lets you apply wave
sound effects.
Important: The [Playback] volume controls the master
output sound volume of your system. Depending on the
speaker you use you will need to adjust both the volume
control on the speaker itself and the audio volume control
menu under Windows 95/98 to get the proper sound output.
