Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and personal injury.
Impress Seat Removal
1. Place the Impress Task Chair upside
down on a hard, sturdy surface
(table) with the Impress seat resting
on the surface and the backrest
portion hanging down over the edge
of the table (Figure 1).
2. Remove the two rear exposed

screws securing the seat to the
seat slider. Press the seat slider
mechanism lever down and slide the
seat-control mechanism forward until
the remaining two front mounting
screws are exposed on the seat
slider. Remove the two remaining

x 1" Phillips hex head washer

screws securing the seat to the slider
(Figures 1 & 2).
Note: The seat slider must be
adjusted by activating lever to expose
the front or rear

3. Remove the damaged seat from
under the task chair. Place the chair
upright on the floor (Figure 3).
