Thank you for choosing the ECS4510-12PD switch system. This switch is built with
leading-edge technology to deliver reliable high-performance connectivity for
your data network.
The ECS4510-12PD is a Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 switch with eight 10/100/
1000BASE-T ports, two 10/100/1000BASE-T uplink ports, and two Small Form Factor
Pluggable (SFP) transceiver slots.
The switch also includes an SNMP-based management agent, which provides both
in-band and out-of-band access for managing the switch. Further, the switch
supports both web and CLI-based configuration.
The switch supports both the IEEE 802.3af-2003 and IEEE 802.3at-2009 PoE
specifications. The eight 10/100/1000 Mbps ports (ports 1~8) on the ECS4510-12PD
support the IEEE 802.3at-2009 PoE Powered Device (PD) specification that enables
DC power to be supplied to the switch using wires in the connecting Ethernet
cable. One 10/100/1000 Mbps port (port 10) supports the IEEE 802.3af-2003 Power
Sourcing Equipment (PSE) specification that enables the port to supply power to an
attached device using wires in the connecting Ethernet cable.
