Lippert Components Ground Control 3.0 Quick Reference

Product Information
Ground Control 3.0® automatic leveling system for 5th wheel applications features two
controllers. The earlier version, Rev. A, will have an A on the serial number sticker and black text
for the Lippert part number on the controller (Figs. 1A and 2A). Rev. B will have a B on the serial
number sticker and the Lippert part number text on the controller will be blue (Figs. 3A and 4A).
The controllers will be generally located on the ceiling of a compartment toward the front of the
trailer, and serial number stickers are located in the top left corner on the back of the controller.

Connecting the Tow Vehicle
1.
Connect a fully charged battery.
2.
Ensure battery disconnect is "On."
3.
Press the "Up" and "Down" arrows
(Fig. 5A and 5B) on the Auto Leveling
Control Touch Pad simultaneously

to turn panel on. The LED (Fig. 5C)
should be solid green.
4.
Press the "Up" or "Down" arrows to
extend or retract the landing gear.
NoTe: The arrows control the direction
the front of the trailer will move.
"Up" (Fig. 5A) raises the front
of the trailer. "Down" (Fig. 5B)
lowers the front of the trailer. The
green LED will blink while the
system is running.
5.
Connect the tow vehicle.
6.
Press and hold the "Down" arrow
until the landing gear is retracted.
7.
Use the pull pins on the landing
gear to manually return the jack legs
to their fully retracted position.
8. Turn the battery disconnect "Off."
