    LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE For best cutting results the mower blades should be kept sharp. Ragged cut indicates the blade may be dull. The blades should be sharpened when they become as shown in Figure 8 left 'A' and should be replaced when they become as shown in Figure 8 right 'B'.

    LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT: Be sure to install “Conical Spring Washer” facing to blade. Marks on washer must be away from blade. BELT ADJUSTMENT This belt is located on top of the mower deck under the belt covers. This belt is properly adjusted at the factory.

    PREPARING MOWER FOR OPERATION ASSEMBLY OF MOWER TO TRACTOR PREPARING THE TRACTOR When optional large tires (AG5.00-12, AG6-12 with AG9 .5-16) are attached to the tractor, the mower can not be mounted. Use standard tires or turf tires only. The front wheel tread setting in two wheel drive tractor should be adjusted only as shown in Figure 23 when the mower is mounted.
