Make sure the hitch ball size
matches the coupler size (5 cm
(2 in)).
Check that the watercraft is
ready to be towed according to
the watercraft manufacturer's
recommendations.
Check that the jack is retracted.
Check tires condition. Refer to
Maintenance procedures for
details.
Check tires pressure. Refer to
specifications for values.
Check of wheel lug nuts for
tightness.
Check that the load meets the
specifications.
Check that coupler is latched
and locked. Refer to Attaching
the Trailer to the Tow Vehicle .
Check that tongue safety cables
are crisscrossed under the
tongue and attached to the
hitch. Refer to Attaching the
Trailer to the Tow Vehicle .
Check lights operation.
Clean all reflectors and lights
lenses.
Check if watercraft is properly
secured to the trailer at rear.
Make sure the watercraft is
properly secured at front. Refer
to Loading the Watercraft .
