APPLICATION The XTIRPA system as well as its numerous components and parts (including the gallows, safety guard, removable adapter, permanent adapter, integrated mast and side entrance trolley) were engineered to be used as part of a personal protection equipment system, a protection system against falls, a work and safety positioning system, a staff management system, an equipment management system and a safeguard system to be used in isolation.

OPERATION, INSTALLATION AND USE OF THE XTIRPA SYSTEM SYSTEM’S OPERATION AND USE GALLOWS WITH MAST AND BARREL ADAPTOR Ensure that all components and parts are in perfect operating condition and that every- thing works properly. Remove the retention pins. Adjust both parts of the adaptor to get a distance that is barely greater than the low wall on which it is installed.

Lock using the pin. Install the gallows’ receptacle on the mast. Lock using the pin. Install the lifeline or winch onto the gallows’ support designed to receive this type of equipment. Use the locking pin provided along with the lifeline or winch sup- port and lock with the latter.
