5. Remove bearing (B) from shaft (A). Use a
suitable pulling device.
6. Remove seal (A) from hub (B). If the seal is to
be replaced pliers can be used.

Assembling the Bare Shaft Kit

Check the bearing and the seal before reuse. If
necessary use a new bearing and a new seal.
1. Place the hub (B) on a flat surface, with the
bearing side upward. Clean
surfaces (A) for bearing and seal and put some
transmission oil on these surfaces.
