ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND INFORMATION

AIR DIRECTION(4-WAY)
The 4-way air directional louvers allow you to direct the air flow Up or Down and Left or
Right throughout the room as needed. To adjust the air directional louvers side-to-side,
use the center handles as you move it side-to-side.
3-MINUTE DELAYED START
This air conditioner has a protection circuit to prevent the compressor from overheat-
ing. If the unit is switched off and then on again in quick succession, there will be a
three-minute delay before the compressor will kick in (when cooling).
CELSIUS TO FAHRENHEIT CONVERSION
The temperature display is capable of showing the units in either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
 
To toggle between options, press and hold the Up and Down buttons at the
same time for three seconds.
A NOTE ON ELECTRIC HEAT
This model comes with electric supplemental heat function. This is not a heat pump
and as such the compressor does not run during heating mode. In more mild climates,
the electric heat may be able to heat a room by itself. In places with colder tempera-
tures and sever winters, the electric heat can act to provide supplementary heat to an
existing heating system where the system alone is inadequate for a certain room.
