In the lower part of the operation panel are light-emitting diodes (LED) with the fol-
lowing meanings:
Yellow
Flashes quickly
Flashes slowly
Lights up
Flashes slowly
Yellow
Lights up
Yellow
Lights up

After switching on the device:
The capacitors are charged. The device runs a self-
test.
In sleep mode:
After the self-test, the device is ready for welding and
switches to sleep mode.
Sleep mode is ended when the welding-gun trigger is
actuated or the welding gun makes contact with the
workpiece.
When the stud welding machine is ready for welding
and sleep mode is ended.
After about 3 minutes without use, the device switch-
es to sleep mode.
After switching off the device:
The capacitors are discharged.
When there is electrical contact between the welding
element and the workpiece
When the welding-gun trigger is actuated
The stud welding machine is locked in the event of
– the stud welding machine being thermally over-
loaded. Work can be continued after a short cool-
down phase.
