17.1 Warranty, liability, and claims

The warranty for this device is for 24 months from the date of
purchase. The original invoice serves as proof and must be submitted
when asserting a claim. Improper handling and/or maintenance of the
device invalidates the warranty. It does not cover any defects which
can be attributed to any external power supply unit other than the one
supplied.
The warranty is limited to the repair of defective parts or – at
MACHEREY-NAGEL's discretion – to the delivery of a defect-free
replacement device. The 24-month warranty period is not affected
by a warranty claim. There is no right of withdrawal. Other claims are
excluded. These include, in particular, all claims for damages resulting
from consequential damages or indirect damages. Our general
conditions of sale and delivery as printed on all price lists additionally
apply, as amended.
