7. Technical description

The compact photometer PF-3 enables measurements at 3
predefined wavelengths. The light generated by the respective LED
is directed through an interference filter into the cuvette shaft of the
device. After passing through the sample, the proportion of absorbed
light is calculated by detecting the attenuated light. The proportion of
absorbed light is converted with the aid of a stored calibration into the
concentration of the analyte examined.
