12.9 20–80% bar
The device can optionally display a 20–80% measurement range bar
to check whether the result is in the middle measurement range. In
this menu, you can enable and disable the 20–80% bar using the
action button
factory preset.

12.10 0 set function

A zero measurement must be performed for all VISOCOLOR
tests. Therefore, when switching between tests, it is necessary
to measure a new zero. If you conduct a series of tests for various
parameters from the same sample, you can use the 0 set function to
store a zero for all VISOCOLOR

When the 0 set function is switched on, you can call up a new test
after measuring a zero, insert the measurement cuvette directly, and
perform the measurement using

Once you switch off the device, it is necessary to measure a new zero.
This function is not enabled by default. You can switch the 0 set
function on or off in the settings.
Retaining a single zero measurement as the basis for further
tests can be recommended only if measurements for various
parameters are performed from one sample or the samples are very
similar.
If you are not sure whether there is sufficient similarity, we always
recommend measuring a zero for our VISOCOLOR

12.11 Calibration adjustment

The PF-3 has already been factory-calibrated for direct use without
user adjustment. The calibration adjustment can be used to meet legal
requirements. To do this, you can adjust the MACHEREY-NAGEL factory
programming for the VISOCOLOR
"Adjust calibration" menu with the aid of a standard. You can select the
