    Handbuch PF-3 1. Einleitung Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für das Kompaktphotometer PF-3 von MACHEREY-NAGEL entschieden haben. Das PF-3 ist ein schnel- les und leistungsfähiges Photometer für den mobilen Einsatz. Mit dem Gerät können Sie, je nach Version, unsere VISOCOLOR ®...

    Öffnen Sie die Packung vorsichtig. Sollten Teile fehlen oder beschä- digt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler oder unseren tech- nischen Service (siehe 10.5, Seite 15). Je nach Version wird das PF-3 entweder im Karton oder im Koffer geliefert. Die Koffer können ggf. entsprechende Reagenzien ent- halten.

    Das Gerät ist für eine möglichst einfache Bedienung ausgelegt. Die Benutzerführung erfolgt vollständig über Menüsymbole, die über entsprechende Aktionssymbole mit den vier Aktionstasten unter- halb des Bildschirms angewählt werden können.     5.2. Zusätzliche Teste In vielen Fällen erlauben die in einem Gerät verbauten Wellenlän- gen die Auswertung weiterer MACHEREY-NAGEL Teste und Para- meter, die noch nicht in der Ausgangsversion des Geräts enthalten sind. Solche Teste können Sie im Internet kostenfrei über ein Soft- waretool auf Ihr Gerät aufspielen.

    Genaue Hinweise zum Aufspielen eines Updates entnehmen Sie bitte der entsprechenden Updateanweisung. 6.7. Kalibrieren Im normalen Betrieb muss das PF-3 nicht kalibriert werden. Falls doch eine Kalibrierung erforderlich sein sollte, drücken Sie die Tas- , um den Kalibriervorgang zu starten. Ein neues Display er- scheint mit der Aufforderung die Kalibrierküvette einzusetzen.

    Handbuch PF-3 7. Speicher Das PF-3 verfügt über einen internen Speicher für bis zu 50 Mes- sergebnisse. Zusätzlich zum Messwert speichert das Gerät auch Datum und Uhrzeit der Messung. Wenn alle freien Plätze im Spei- cher belegt sind, überschreibt das Gerät den ältesten Eintrag nach einer neuen Messung.

    Manual PF-3 1. Introduction Thank you for purchasing a PF-3 compact photometer from MACHEREY-NAGEL. The PF-3 is a quick and powerful instru- ment for mobile use. With the instrument, you can determine our VISOCOLOR ® and NANOCOLOR ® tests. Which tests can be run on the instrument depends on the version.

Inappropriate use The PF-3 is only meant to be used as a photometric analysis de- vice for MACHERE-NAGEL test kits.   • Page 23 6.7. Calibration In the calibration menu, you can calibrate the instrument. Normally, the PF-3 does not need to be calibrated. In case a calibration is necessary, press to start the calibration process. A new display appears asking you to insert the calibration tube.
  • Page 24 7. Memory The PF-3 features an internal memory for up to 50 measurements. In addition to the actual result, the instrument also saves the date and time of the measurement. If the memory is full, the instrument overwrites the oldest data set once a new measurement is per- formed.
