9.1 Interface/power supply

The device has a USB interface for power supply and data export. The
interface is located underneath the cover of the battery compartment.
The battery compartment is at the lower rear of the device and can be
opened with a Phillips screwdriver.

The device is normally operated with three AA disposable/rechargeable
batteries. Optionally, the device can also be equipped with a battery
pack (REF 919391) which is charged via the USB interface. Operation
via the USB connection is also possible.

10. Initial operation

10.1 Switching on

Switch on the device using the I/O switch on the front. The device
name and firmware version appear on the display. After a few seconds,
the start screen with the most recently selected method appears.
