S T E P F I V E www.newenglandarbors.com Vinyl Rafter Assembly Insert the end of the vinyl rafter into the joiner. Insert one metal stiffener (with metal block facing up) into the lower pocket of the vinyl rafter past the joiner. Push until metal block hits the internal ribbing. -

S T E P S I X Installing Vinyl Beams Temporarily clamp or place the inside main support beam into position. Align pre-drilled holes in the beam with the pre-drilled holes on the post. Position the outside main support beam, aligning pre-drilled holes in the beam with the pre-drilled holes on the post. -

S T E P S E V E N Installing Vinyl Rafters With two ladders and a helper, place all six rafters into the rafter U-brackets. Ensure the metal block is facing up. The rafters should overhang the beams by 9 1/8” - check on both sides. - Page 14 S T E P E I G H T www.newenglandarbors.com Shade Slat Assembly Apply a small amount of vinyl glue to the inside of the shade slat decorative end cap and attach to one end of the shade slat as shown. Assemble shade slats by inserting the two slats into one joiner.

With a helper position the entire arch and screw brackets into place on the columns using a 1 1/2” screw. Keystone lid should sit flush under the joiner. Repeat for other arch kit assembly.

Install the tongue and groove privacy board working from the tallest board to the shortest. The first board should sit flush inside the u-channel.
