6 CHANGING THE RIBBON

1. Switch off the printer and then open the lid.
2. To remove the old ribbon cassette, push down at
the right-hand end, unclip from the left-hand end
and then lift the cassette out of the printer.
3. Take the new ribbon cassette and check that the
ribbon is taut by turning the small wheel in a
clockwise direction. Clip the cassette into position,
ensuring that the paper still feeds between the
ribbon and the cassette body.
4. Wind the wheel in a clockwise direction to tighten
the ribbon.
5. Close the lid.
