5 LOADING PAPER

1. Switch on the printer, open the lid and remove the old
paper still left in the mechanism by pressing the paper feed
button - do not pull the paper out of the back of the
mechanism.
2. Pull off a few centimetres of paper from the new paper roll
and check that the end of the paper is square. If the paper
is not square, then cut the end to ensure that it is.
3. Place the paper roll in the well within the printer, with the
end of the paper coming from the bottom of the roll.
4. Feed the paper into the back of the mechanism whilst
pressing the paper feed button. Keep the button pressed
until enough paper has been fed through the mechanism
to allow it to be inserted through the slot in the lid.
5. Feed the paper through the slot and then close the lid.
