Place cable into the cable groove and close the tool handles until you
hear the last ratcheting sound.
Pull lever in the directions of the arrow until the cut has been made.
Push lever back to it's origianl position.
Close the plier handles until you hear the last ratcheting sound, so
that the automatic locking mechanism is released and the tool opens
by itself.
Remove the cut cable.
· Place the cable into the cable groove 1 for cutting, now close the tool
handles until you hear the last ratcheting sound.
· Pull lever in the direction of the arrow until the cut has been made.
· Push lever back to it's original position.
· Close the plier handles until you hear the last ratcheting sound, so
that the automatic locking mechanism is released and the tool opens
by itself.
· Remove the cut cable from cable groove 1.
· Adjust the wire stop on the guide pin (with scale) until the desired
stripping length is reached.
· Place cable on guide pin into cable groove 2 of the stripping device.
· Close the tool handles until you hear the last ratcheting sound. Now
release the handles very slightly (DO NOT OPEN) and pull out the
cable sideways and straight.
· Close the plier handles until you hear the last ratcheting sound, so
that the automatic locking mechanism is released and the tool opens
by itself.
· Remove the cable.
· Remove, if necessary, some insulation residue left behind with an
appropriate tool from the cable groove 2 of the stripping aid.
